iTHINK PET TEAM
I am the founder of iThink Pet. I am a mother of three wonderful animal loving children, owner of 1 dog (Terrier Mix Benji), and 1 cat (White DSH Bella). I decided to start iThink Pet because caring for animals is not considered a job for me. It is more of a passion. Something I love to do and look forward to doing every single day. I began caring for dogs as early as 8 years old. My first dog Lucky was one of the main reason I have this love for animals so much. It is unbelievable how a dog can express so much unconditional love to its owner. Lucky is one of my inspirations. Throughout my life I've cared for 5 dogs and 10 cats. That's a lot of work, but I LOVE it!
For now, pet sitting is part-time for my family and I. We would love to make it our full-time in the near future. It's very fulfilling when I can share my passion with my children. I pride myself in what I do, and enjoy every second of it. |
My children are my little human helpers. It never fails to have at least one of them with me during a dog walking or cat sitting with owners permission of course. They manage to help fearful dogs who are scared to be around children or don't like children. My children are fearless when it comes to helping a furry one. Of course, I would never put them in a situation I know will be harmful to them. It just amazes me how much bonding time we spend with one another doing what we all love to do. I think that is why the pets we care for are so happy with us being around.

Bella was adopted in 2009 from Purrfect Cat Rescue in Fremont. Can I just say that I grew up fearful of cats. I found that they have snake like eyes and to me, that was the most scariest thing about a cat. But that all changed the evening I saw Bella. OMG, she was such an adorable little kitten. So innocent and fragile. When the lady (Suelyn) picked her up and handed her to me, my heart just dropped. The first thing I told Suelyn, was "who cares about those scary looking eyes I always envision cats to have, she is adorable." It was love at first sight. She grew up to be a well kept cat. Clean, sophisticated, and loving. She's like a princess.

This is Benji. Benji is a rescue dog that adopted me Summer of 2010. I found him in an industrial area running away from a group of people that were trying to catch him. The people said that he's been out and about for 3 nights crying. I decided to help them catch Benji and surprisingly, he came to me with no trouble. (I still believe to this day, that it was the food I had that lured him to me.) I took him to the nearby shelter and filed a found report with them. I didn't want to leave him at the shelter because I thought that being homeless for 3 nights would have already been traumatizing, so I told the shelter that he'll stay with me until his owner calls for him. 30 days has passed and no calls from the shelter. I followed up and was told that the dog is considered mine after 30 days if I decide to keep him. Well guess what.... I kept him and gave him a furever home. He's a handsome boy.
