Do I really need the help of a pet sitter?
- Absolutely. We’re an experienced team, and we’d not only be happy to help you learn more about how much a pet sitter can do for you, but we can also help you learn more about the variety of services we offer. If you can’t find the answers you need on our site, don’t hesitate to contact us right away.
I have a neighbor who can watch my pet while I’m away. Why would I hire a pet sitter?
- Neighbors are great, but they’re busy people. At iThink Pet, we’re completely dedicated to the care of your pets. We don’t have anything else on our mind, and we’ll consistently be there for your friend, on time, every day that you’re away.
- Often, it’s more than just showing up, though. We have both the experience and the training to deal with a variety of situations that could arise during your absence. We’ll always provide the right level of care for your pet and assess any problems that we notice. Licensed, bonded, and insured.
Will you come to my house?
- Sure! This is your chance to leave your pet in his or her familiar environment, and it’s far better for your pet to stay in the home than it is to force them to transition while you’re away.
How often do you visit my pet?
- Smaller animals usually do well with once a day visits. Dogs, however, typically need a visit about every eight hours. We typically schedule two visits a day while you’re gone, often between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
What types of pets do you work with?
- Right now, we’re just there for your dogs, cats, rabbits, and fishes. In the near future, though, we’ll be adding additional services, so check back for more types of pets soon.
Do you play with my pet while I’m away?
- Animals are our business, so of course we spend some quality time. We’re there to spend quality time with your pets, not just let them out so they don’t make a mess on the carpet. Just show us where the toy box is, and we’ll make certain your pets get lots of play time with every visit.
Do you require advanced notice?
- As soon as you know you’ll need our services, contact us. Often clients book us months in advance, but we’ll do what we can to fit you into our schedule!
Why should I consider your dog walking services?
- There are lots of different reasons to use dog walking services. It’s a great way to get your pet the exercise he or she needs, and it can also help with house training and leash training. Additionally, it’s the perfect potty break for your pet during the day. At iThink Pet, we offer 30-minute walk options, and we can help you out with as many dogs as you have in your household.
When pet(s) get boarded, where do they stay?
- Pets boarded with us have free roam of our home except bedrooms and bathrooms.
What do I need to bring when boarding my pet(s)?
- Food
- Food / Water bowls
- Bed
- Toys
- Leash / Collar (for dogs)
- Entire home for smaller pets such as, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc.
Do you crate pets your board?
- If you're pet is crated at home, it is best they are crated during boarding. We strive to keep things similarly the same as if they were home.
- Depending on situation, if we feel it is safer for your pet to be crated, we will crate.
What are your drop-off / pick-up times for pet boarding?
- Drop off hours start 2pm (if you need to drop off before this time, please let us know. A small fee may apply.)
- Pick up hours start at 7am - 11am (if you need to pick up after hours, please let us know. A small fee may apply.)
How do I sign up for your services?
- Whether you’re looking for a dog walker, in home pet visits, or pet boarding while you’re away, the best way to contact us is text, email, or give us a call. You can also complete the contact form on site.
What types of payment methods do you accept?
- We accept cash, checks payable to iThink Pet, Venmo, or Zelle.
When do we pay for reservations / service requests?
- Payment is due 24 hours (1 day) before start of service.
What if I need to cancel my services?
- You may cancel your service request anytime before any payment has already been made.
What happens if we get back earlier than expected or need to pick up our pet(s) from boarding earlier?
- Reservations are made to plan sitter's availability to clients; therefore, clients returning home early will still be required to pay for the reserved amount of time scheduled. No Exceptions.
Do you offer pick-up / drop-off?
- Yes, we off pick-up / drop-off for a small fee. See our fee page.
Are you insured?
